Description

Get Out there and Live with Doyle’s Thornless Blackberry Plants!

The amazing Doyle’s Thornless Blackberry® is 30 times more effective than ordinary blackberries.

That many plants take up a lot of garden space. Our Doyle’s Thornless Blackberries Plants only require a 6 foot trellis. It can even be grown in large containers for patio use.

A bare root plant needs two to four weeks to re-root itself. Don’t pronounce it dead till it has time to root. Production is slow in the first year because it is establishing itself. After that, you will see increased production, especially in the third year with large, sweet, and juicy berries! Unlike some other plants, some of Doyle’s plants have gotten 3 gallons the first year!

It’s outrageously tasty to go out in the morning to pick a large bowl of berries for your cereal or just eat them fresh with cream.

For Family Use, we recommend 3-5 Doyle’s Thornless Blackberry Plants. Generally produces from early July into September with peak production between Mid July and Mid August. Soil ph must be between 5 and 6.5. This is a trailing blackberry that can grow up to 40 foot long canes and must be trellised. Fertilize with an even number fertilizer such as our organic fish-based 4-4-4. If temperatures go below minus 20 Fahrenheit, the plant must be covered with 6 mil clear or white plastic to make a temporary greenhouse during the winter. Produces in all 50 states and Canada.
